Your Attorney must have extensive knowledge in:
- Income and gift tax law.
- Trusts and wills.
- Medicaid.
- HealthCare options.
- Family Counseling.
- Complete at least 16 hours of specialized training in VA Improved Pension Planning.
- Complete at least 3 hours per year training in VA Benefits rules and regulations.
- Pass the AVAPP exam.
- Remain in good standing with AVAPP.
- Maintain Accreditation with the VA.
- Remain in good standing with all State Bar Associations in states in which they are licensed to practice law.
- Complete at least 16 hours of AVAPP approved specialized training in VA Improved Pension Planning.
- Pass the AVAPP exam.
- Remain in good standing with AVAPP.
- Remain in good standing with their state and federal licensing agencies.
